Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your HireNow account (the HireNow app by HireNow Technologies Ltd) and the personal data associated with it using either method below. Method 1 can be completed entirely in the app. Method 2 is available if you no longer have access to the app or your login.

If you are a customer (individual or business):

• Open the HireNow app and sign in
• Tap the Profile tab
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
• Confirm the deletion prompt, then enter your password
• Your account is deleted and you are signed out immediately

If you are a service provider:

• Open the HireNow app and sign in
• Tap the Settings tab
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
• Confirm the deletion prompt
• Your account is deleted and you are signed out immediately

If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address registered to your account:

• To — support@hirenowapp.com
• Subject — Account Deletion Request
• Body — Include the email address or phone number registered to your HireNow account so we can verify and locate it.

Send to support@hirenowapp.com. We will process verified deletion requests as soon as practicable and in any case within 30 days, and will confirm by email when your account has been deleted.

Once your deletion request is processed, the following data associated with your account is deleted or permanently anonymised so it can no longer be linked to you:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Password and login credentials
• Profile details (bio, photos, address, occupation, social links)
• Verification data (NIN, headshot, identity documents)
• Guarantor details (name, contact information, NIN, address)
• Business documents and registration details
• Push notification tokens and device sessions
• Your account's public profile, so it is no longer visible on HireNow

Some data is retained after account deletion for legal, financial, and operational reasons:

• Booking and service records — retained for up to 6 months after deletion (or longer where required by law), then permanently deleted
• Payment and wallet transaction records — retained for up to 6 months after deletion (or as required by Nigerian tax and financial record-keeping law), then permanently deleted
• Support ticket history — retained for up to 6 months after deletion for dispute resolution

Retained records are used only for the purposes stated above and are permanently deleted when the retention period expires.
